Rhino 8 WIP Mac: DXF import fails

After update to Rhino 8.0.22109.08306, 2022-04-19 the DXF import does not work on Mac OS.

DXF file imports fine in Rhino-7:

but exact same DXF import fails in Rhino-8

Hi Ed -

Does that also fail when you draw a simple rectangle in Rhino, export that to DXF, and then import that DXF file back into Rhino?

Yes, afraid that gives me the same error:

I also tried saving that as different DXF and DWG formats (years) and all give me the same error.

Could you run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste that here?
