Thank you
No problem in Rhino Version 7 (7.3.21012.11001, 1/12/2021)

Do you have CUDA or OptiX selected for your Quadro RTX 4000?

There should be no differences between 7.3 and 8.0 at this moment of writing.

I haven’t tested Rhino 8 WIP yet, too busy with 7.x issues, but I’ll test this when I can on my (Quadro) RTX A6000.

No OptiX that I can find and not sure where to choose/not choose CUDA
OK no hurry…8 can wait
Thanks Nathan!

Well, I installed the same Rhino 8 WIP as you have. My system completely freezes :open_mouth: I have to hold the power button down for five seconds to get the machine to shutdown, then restart it again.

Again, I haven’t made any changes to Rhino 8 WIP code yet, I don’t think I have even compiled it on my machine.

I’ll try to find out where this comes from and get it fixed when I can.

8 can wait– It’s a WIP! :+1:
If I can help/test please let me know.
