Rhino 8 upgrade - clipping section styles no longer work on any view

Hello,

I just updated to the latest version (Version 8 (8.13.24317.13002, 2024-11-12))

Every single view in the project that was using section styles now no longer recognises them or any clipping plane lines, doesn’t matter what view I am in or what thickness I adjust things to be. This is a huge disaster for the project I am on.

I am having to trace over all sections with a thicker lineweight to try imitate the section (with this tight deadline)

So far section styles have been so buggy as to be almost unusable for actual work. I would rather stick with drawing on top of detail views in layout with thicker lineweights then constantly risk having something bug out or stop working.

It’s done this to every single file I have… Can you urgently send a download to revert back to the older version? This is such a massive bug!!

Can you run the systemInfo command in rhino and post the result? We haven’t seen any similar reports, any additional info would be helpful. Thanks

ClippingSections showing wrong in Detail?

Hi, I’m having difficulties with ClippingSections. I use them to create section details in the layout. But it seems that if I have more than 2 ClippingSections, the display starts to react strangely. If I zoom in and out, or go in and out of a detail, the details are showing differently. Sometimes it displays the sections with the section style and sometimes it doesn’t. And sometimes it doesn’t display the section at all. Maybe it’s because of the way I’ve done it? I’ve never used that many bef…
