Hello, I have a rhino 8 file but I have installed Rhino 7. How can I convert the file from Rhino 8 to Rhino 7?

Install Rhino 8 trial version then save as a Rhino 7 file
Convert3dm is a simple command-line utility that reads a 3dm file and writes a new 3dm file using the specified file version.
Convert3dm support Rhino file versions 1 through 8.
Convert3dm works on both Windows and Mac, and it does not require Rhino to be installed.

I installed it, but it doesn’t open because there might be a malware. Is there another away to converting without needing Rhino 8?

That’s a false positive, then. You should be able to override that.
