Rhino 8 SR24 Crashes when loading C# component

Hi,

I have been using this C# component to extract geometry from .dwg files for years. Still works fine in R7 but with the latest R8 SR24 it crashes the program completely. However when i run Rhino.Inside it works fine.

I have attached .gh file and example .dwg file, any help would be much appreciated. I still need to work in both R7 and R8.

Crashed in: Version 8 SR24 (8.24.25281.15001, 2025-10-08), pretty sure it was fine in pervious SR.

Hi Jessesn,

That’s good news, but I’m hesitant to upgrade since its hard to roll back if I find something else. Did it work in SR25? And when is SR25 due approx?

Would be great if we could isolate what line in the c# code that causes it, might be able to fix the code and keep running current version?
