I have recently downloaded the evaluation version of Rhino 8 on my windows desktop. I have a model in model space and am using detail views in layout space to draft up dimensions. I’ve been having problems with snaps in layout space. When pulling dimensions off the model I can snap to some parts of the model and not others, what I can snap to and what I can’t seems random. There are also problems with snapping to other dimensions in layout space as well. I’ve had this problem across multiple files, in some files the snaps in layout space don’t work at all. I’ve saved the model as a Rhino 7 file and opened it and all the snaps are working fine. All of my osnap options are the same in rhino 7 and rhino 8.
Hi @isabella.sperling can you run _Systeminfo in Rhino 8 and post back the results?
Sure thing!

Hi Isabella -
You should probably update to SR4, but this should work in SR3 as well.
Can you post a simple 3dm file that shows the behavior you are experiencing?
