Rhino 8 slow interface, 2d architecture construction plan 129mb file

I found a lot of post about performance issues on v6-v8, all were about text boxs, layers panels, hatchs, double geometry, hidden objects within hidden groups, blocks, i hope someone can help me, i use rhinoceros for drafting and a variety of projects here in Mexico and this is concerning.

Hi Artificio -

The current version is Rhino 8 SR 17, please update.
Apart from that, if you could post a 3dm file or upload it, we can check if there’s something out of the ordinary happening here. If you use our upload page - Rhino Accounts - please make sure to copy a link to this thread in the comments field on that page.

just uploaded it.

Hi Artificio -

Thanks. There are 54 block instances, 1 point, 230087 curves, 13 surfaces, 65 linear dimensions, 270 texts, and 294 hatches in this file. On my M3 Mac, there is a very small lag when panning and zooming in the viewport, but, given the amount of curves, this behaves as I would expect.

Did you update to SR 17? Apart from that, you’ll have to organize your scene with layers, named selections, and/or groups to quickly be able to hide all geometry that isn’t needed at any given point.
