Rhino 8 Regression: CPython/IronPython RhinoCommon Performance Is Worse

As much as I appreciate bringing native CPython support to Rhino, and the effort to consolidate the scripting environments, it does indeed feel like maybe this was too tall of an order. After almost two years of testing, the new editor is still not at feature parity with GhPython, arguably because of feature creep. With my primary issues being slated for future/Rhino 9 on YouTrack (e.g. code legibility/syntax highlighting) and new issues constantly being reported (here’s a bad unaddressed one from the other day), I’ve pretty much given up on using the new editor (and Rhino 8) for production :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
