Everything in the update section is greyed out.
Restarting Rhino does not install the update,
unlike it usually does.
How can I fix this?
I cannot, it’s greyed out.
Offhand I can’t think of anything that would disable the check box. Have you tried a Reset (via Rhino commmand line). Here’s a direct link.
In Rhino 7 german I had the same problem 2 years ago. Perhaps this helps:

I completely uninstalled V8, including the AppData folder
and installed the newest version. Didn’t spend much time
with V8 yet, so I didn’t lose time for reconfiguration.
The checkbox is now clickable.
V8 is now shown as V7. Lol.

V7 now has the same issues. Maybe just a (hopefully temporary) server issue?
