Rhino 8_issues with reference images when printing

Can anybody explain why when I have a reference picture in my Rhino 8 file, I can access and see it in Rhino and print it in my pdf the first time I use it, but if I have to go back into my file later to change something the image is viewable in model space and paper space, but will not print? Settings have not changed between the first and second print, but for some reason images keep disappearing. They also disappear if I copy them over, so if I need the same image in a file more than once I have to import it anew each time.

Running Rhino 8, Windows 10, VisualArq3 Beta.

Very odd.
If it were me, I would first disable the plug-ins that did not ship with Rhino, close and restart, then see if the problem goes away. My guess is one of the plug-ins is interfering.

If that’s not it, please make a simple example file, and post it together with a specific command sequence you follow so we can try to duplicate the problem.

Thanks
