This with all files, even simple ones, or just one file?

I would update the video drivers, they are nearly a year old. Also, maybe try temporarily disabling Enscape and see if the problem goes away.

It varies, but yes - this file in particular.

I have updated my video drive and disable enscape. No change. It also tried to purge unused layers and blocks, but no change either. It is a larger file, but when my colleague uses a R7 verison of it, it runs more smoothly.

That’s something that people (myself included)see from time to time, a certain largish file getting obnoxiously slow, if you’ve got a file that shows this consistently in a certain version of Rhino send it to support@mcneel.com.

So, send the file it self?

Sadly I can not do that, as the work is confidential. Is there another way for them to assist me, without seeing the content of the file?

They’re aware people send them confidential stuff all the time, it’s the nature of support right? And without files they’ve got no way of even beginning to figure out what might be going on.

Using the link provided sends it directly to McNeel support. It never shows up here in the forum.

Perhaps if the slowness really troubles you, you can seek permission from your superiors or client to share it with McNeel for troubleshooting purposes.

FWIW I have never seen anything on the forum from someone whose confidentially shared data escaped from McNeel.
