Rhino 8 - Camera movement trembles on 60Hz Refresh

Camera movement shakes significantly when screen refresh is set on 60Hz.
Lower refresh rates are commonly used on laptops to reduce battery consumption.

Windows 11, System, Display, Advanced Display, Choose a Refresh Rate - 60Hz

I have the same on my laptop when I have vertical synch turned on in the nvidia settings. See if turning off improves it.

Yes it does improve.
But this is a problem still: What if you have a laptop from work, on which you are not admin and therefore cannot make changes in the nVIDIA Control Panel?
What if there are several laptops with this issue? Will the IT admin change these setting manually for each of them?

What can I say? If companies are so full of doubt of their employees that they need to restrict access to the computers they work on, then they are responsible if it doesn’t work correctly, right?

No, that’s not the reason for restricted access.

It’s just how things work:

Laptops are passed between different emplyees, each of them signs in with their Username.
Nvidia settings are global system settings not user settings so therefore you need admin login.

It’s just standard way of administration, no relation to doubt whatsoever.

Well, if vertical synch fixes the issue when you log in, I am sure it will fix it too when someone else logs in.

The VSync setting is not available when a regular user loggs in.
That’s global managed by admin.
