Noticed that the layer panel text is not visible when Mac automatically transitions from light mode to dark mode.
Also noticed that screen goes black in some instances when there are floating panels on the screen. Example one, when copying command icons to the Pop Up panel or when dragging the layers panel from the side screen onto the screen.

The 8.2 service release candidate is publicly available.
As for the “screen going black”, is that the entire screen, a viewport, several viewports? Could you post an image? Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

Hi, from @sdjames description it looks like we have a similar problem.
When I was using rhino 8 in full screen, it happened quite often that the whole screen would go black (see image below), but I can’t really summarise how this bug was triggered.
After shrinking the full-screen window back to a window on the desktop, the thumbnail of the window remained suspended and could not be reactivated. (see video below)
