Rhino 8 bugs on Mac

Rhino 8 on mac seems to have a number of issues:
I can’t pin (leave in an open state) my layers panel. It’s a bad version of the mac genie effect, where you have to be clicking on it to see the layers as soon as you let go to do something, it hides again. I have not found answers on videos or forums that solve this. The Rhino 8 intro video has functionality that my Rhino 8 does not have.

The delete button works in unpredictable ways. sometimes it deletes things, some times it rotates my X / Y axis.

Pline (ployline) creates unconnected segments and I can’t create a closed curve with it.

I’m not seeing that here, Can you post a short screen capture so I understand what you’re referring to?

Same with these two issues you brought up. A more detailed way to reproduce this would help us fix the issue

Make sure you are running the Polyline command, not the Lines (plural) command.
