Hi.
I created a similar thread about this problem some time ago and I still see this in the latest update.
Display flickers intermittently for a split second and It happens specially when properties panel is visible.

From that other thread, I found RH-75091 - which is said to have been fixed in 8.6. The related RH-78291 is still open, though.
Do you use a 3D mouse?
