just a generic question: Did anything change from 7 to 8 on Mac with regards to the snap behaviour?
In general I can’t seem to work as smooth as I did in 7; too often it snaps to something I hadn’t intended.

The “Object snap radius” may be set differently in your V8 installation compared to your V7 installation.
In V8 Windows it is set in Options > Rhino Options > Modeling Aids
If you still have V7 installed you can look and see what the value is there. V7 can remain installed when V8 is installed.

Hi Timo- can you be more specific? What exactly are you seeing go wrong? Is there a particular repeatable case you can post as a Rhino file so we can test?

no. Sorry. Only an unsubstantial “feeling”. I seem to have to select and deselect the OSnap targets more often than before to get it right. And therefore I thought I’d asked.
It is probably just user error.

Hi Timo- thanks, I’d say it is not impossible there is a difference in some cases - if you can confirm this somehow as you work and can provide some details, it would be helpful.
