Rhino 7 - Objects not shown in wireframe viewport, other ports work fine

When I create an object or a line in the wireframe viewport it disappears. When I change viewports it reappears. The odd thing is, I have reinstalled rhino 7. The problem persisted. I then reinstalled windows and then rhino again and the problem still persisted. I am at a loss.

here is my systeminfo dump.

Hello- if you start a brand new file, New command > No template - does it behave? Is the display mode set to show curves?

-Pascal

Hey Pascal.
This behavior came before and after reinstalling rhino.

Everything seems to be fine. it’s also not just curves, 3D objects are empty as well in the wireframe viewport.

Rhino just crashed my entire computer again… because I wanted to change a menu visibility setting.

Hoi -
From your SystemInfo, it looks like you are running two monitors - does it change anything if you disconnect one of those?

Another thing you could try is to go to Rhino OptionsViewOpenGL and change the settings there. Lower the antialiasing to 2x or None. Uncheck GPU Tessellation.
If these don’t make a difference, move the Level slider one notch at a time to the left and restart Rhino between every time you move that.

So… I just found out it’s the AMD Radeon gpu drivers that are messing things up. I installed them on another pc and it crashed aswell. and before installing them there Rhino worked fine. Albeit without opencl… I will perform some more tests but it seems it’s not Rhino at fault here.
