Rhino 7 keeps freezing and crashing when trimming

Hi!

I’m just curious about if someone else is experiencing trouble with Rhino 7 crashing from time to time when trimming lines? I just bought the upgrade version, have never encountered the problem with Rhino 6…

I’m drafting in Rhino, thus no complicated geometry or curves. Only simple lines and circles. During this worksession Rhino 7 has crashed three times while entering the trim command.

It’s getting annoying since I have to redo work, I’m trying to save as much as I can now … how can I fix this?

Best
Li

Please post with the text result from the Rhino command _SystemInfo.

Hi Nathan, thanks for the reply. Here you go!
(During this time I have run in to three more freeze and crashes while trimming curves and lines)

EDIT: An observation, it seems like it is more likely to crash when I’m trying to trim a circle. Maybe that info helps …

I am unable to reproduce freezing and crashing while trimming.

You could try with the V-Ray plug-in disabled, although I highly doubt thhat is related.

Thanks for the reply. Ok I’ll try that.
Also I’ve just updated the version, maybe that will fix it.

Best,
Li
