Rhino 7 crashes when creating a material

it crush when creating material

  1. open Rhino 7
  2. create box 3 x 2 x 2m
  3. layer material - use new material - create physical base material
  4. texture selection - base color - select image
  5. change object layer to layer with material
  6. set view to render

when I set different surfaces to new material it crushes

unfortunately it is not everytime and completely random

Hi Michal -

Without steps to reproduce this, we’ll at least need a crash dump to look at. I can’t seen any reported crashes from your eMail address. Please always send those in.

I did not have a window informing me about crush and the ability to send directly. I found this on my desktop.

I’m afraid that one doesn’t help but is a sign that there should have been a crash reporter. When Rhino crashes and it’s caught, two files are created on the desktop. Then the crash reporter should pop up. When the crash reported is closed, the dmp file is automatically deleted.

Since it sounds like you are frequently crashing, please try to crash it once again and look out for the crash reporter.
