Rhino 6 with Firefox running keep crashing my computer

I have been experiencing an issue for a long time now that every once in a while when I am running Firefox and Rhino 6 at the same time my computer will crash. It doesn’t happen when I’m using Edge and I know I have plenty of memory for both operations. I also upgraded my computer recently to a Ryzen 2700X and this still occurs. Does anyone have any theories as to why only Firefox is doing this? if not I guess I’m forced to live the Microsoft ways.

Hi @jsaxon18is,

When Rhino crashes, are you submitting your crash dump information?

Hi @nonaberry.96,

Do you recall what you were doing when Rhino crashed?

Hmm, I’m using FireFox (Nightly) all the time. I have it open pretty much 24/7, haven’t noticed crashes because of it. So any further information on the circumstances etc would be very useful. In the very least, please post the output from the Rhino command _SystemInfo on your machines.

Unfortunately I am unable to move the mouse when this accures and minutes later the whole screen is frozen. I always have to restart the computer. I feel like this happens during an autosave though but I have no way to confirm this. I have my autosaves set to every 10 Minutes.

Oh and I think a youtube video is almost always open on firefox when this happens.
