Rhino 6 - Vray plugin - CPU at 100%

Hello,

I’m working with a 15MB file, so very small.

While I’m assigning materials (nothing fancy, no huge textures), the CPU constantly is between 80 and 100%.
I’ve purposely bought a very high end workstation to be spared from slow UI’s and files crashing but somehow I’m back to square one.

Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?
Below is the setup…

What is your V-Ray version? The current version is 3.60.02

V-Ray for Rhinoceros 6 3.60.02

Are there old materials from VfR2?

I think not. I’ve only started using Vray with the 3.6 version.

I haven’t imported any (old) materials from online sources either.

Any chance to update gpu drivers? seems a bit old

I updated the GPU driver as you suggested, but the issue still persists.

Best would be to pack the scene and send a report to support()chaosgroup.com
