Rhino 6 Mac Startup Issues

Hello, Every time I start my Rhino 6 application on mac I get the “Your license is or was in use on ‘My-PC’sName’. Do you want to keep using Rhino 6 here?” message. The issue is that I am not using my PC and therefore there is an available seat open (my license has one seat, and yes, I checked, it is free when I open Rhino 6). Whenever I click yes to answer the question I get an endless “please wait” window that pops up. I just updated to macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and I uninstalled and reinstalled Rhino 6 on my mac to no avail. It simply will not work on mac for me. What can I do to make it work?

try removing the lic file here- /Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/6.0/License Manager/Licenses

this will cause rhino to revert to an unlicensed state.
when the “rhino needs a license” pop up comes up choose “login”
go to your rhino account and login.

this assumes you have added your license to your rhino account already.

if you have not done so, remove the license file from the location I specified above, then add your license to your rhino account, then open rhino and choose the login option.
