Rhino 6 for Mac WIP build 6.14.19043.120760 - Properties not shown

Hi there
When I select an object, the properties panel is not showing several infos like Layer, Color, etc. see Screenshot. A separate floating properties panels works fine, but is not very comfortable. Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong? I’m used to have the properties shown on the side panel.

Hi - If you start a new file and create a simple box, do you then also see this issue?

Hi there!
Thanks for your answer. No, when opening a new file, it works as usual.
But it happened several times that after working for a while, the properties panel begun to behave weird (as described above).

I also had a few times a solid red viewport which became unusable. Could be that these two problems appeared at the same time… I’m not sure…

Thanks for that.
I asked because I was able to reproduce this once but then not anymore. If you find a specific workflow that causes this, please let us know. We need to be able to reliably reproduce this in order to be able to fix it.

(heads-up, @dan)

Thanks for reporting this Ric!

This feels like an instance of this bug: RH-50838 - reported in this Discourse topic. Can you please take a look at that bug description and see if the steps/symptoms match?

Hi Dan
Yes it’s pretty much the same. I could reproduce this one as described in RH-50838.

But it also occurs when I just switch layers with the properties panel no coping needed.

It happens as well when I import a DWG with several layers and click different object with different layers, no need to change something just clicking or switching from a Hatch panel to the properties panel.

Ric-

I think you’re absolutely right. It’s much easier to reproduce than I had first though. I’m switching this over to RH-51080 and we are working on it now.
