Hi Steve, I dont know what you mean by the rhino 7 WIP. So I try opening rhino again and I am unable to… same issue with locking up at the load screen… sigh
I installed Rhino 7 WIP and used the WIP.exe and it opens rhino without no issue. If i use the original rhino.exe it locks up. At least I can open it up again. Thank you
SR28 came out this week. Please see if it works better.
Any luck?
Hi John, sorry I have been using the WIP 7 Rhino which works great. I just got a notification that it will terminate in 22 days and tried opening Rhino 6 but still couldn’t open even after the update.
The WIP builds expire 45 days after they are created.
A new one comes out almost every week, long before it will expire. That’s how we get the new work out to you for testing.
since you only have 22 days left, you have not been downloading the weekly updates.
Why not?
Well… I have been updating my rhino 6 and currently has the latest update and still currently not working. I have been avoiding to update WIP7 since it is working but good to hear it will reset when I update it. I dont want to take risk not having any version of rhino working.
Back on the V6 crash problem…
When you start V6 and it “crashes”, does the Rhino crash reporting system open?
Assuming yes, are you sending it in?
If so, do it again, then email tech@mcneel.com telling us that you just submitted a crash report.
Then maybe I can get a developer to open the report and get an idea of what is going wrong.
Without the notification from you, the report is processed anonymously.
Thank you John, I will go ahead and send it in. I should have it done 3-4pm today. Thank you again for your help in this matter.
