Rhino 6 crashes for no particular reason

I used Rhino 6 WIP and had problems when suddenly for no particular reason the screen froze, I could not used my mouse, CTRL ALT SUP didn’t have any effect, the onlu thing I could do was to switch off the computer. So basically I used it when I needed to print some rendering because it is much better than in Rhino 5. Now I have used the evaluation version of Rhino 6 for a couple of weeks and thought that the problem was fixed until it reappeared a few days ago. Again I was just working on designing a part and suddenly everything froze. That particular behaviour never happened with Rhino 5. Herebelow is the system information, I hope you can help me :

Hi,

I have been investigating similar freezes and crashes among others in Constant Crashes Today :( . Could you test, as I suggest in the thread, if your mileage increases after disabling all environments?

If that doesn’t help, you might also consider updating your Intel driver, it is about 18 months old already, and newer versions do exist as far as I know (see intel gpu download page - there is even a beta driver for your gpu, but you may want to hold off from that).

Hi @Vincent_Meens, any luck with the suggestions from the other thread?

/Nathan

I just tried gradient instead of 360° for the rendering. And it crashed again while I was in semi transparent mode

Do you mean you use he Render command, or just that you switched to Ghosted mode in a viewport?

Did you also update yet your driver?

I used the render command as indicated in the other post you mentionned but after that because I wanted to work on two solid I switched to the goshted environnement and then it crashed again. I am trying to down load th new driver

bad luck the driver you suggested is not valid for my computer

My rhino 6 is also constantly crashing when i try to edit toolbar buttons (!?), or inside Grasshopper, when custom c# component is involved (sometimes as soon as file is open, other times later, without apparent reason)
