Hi
I have found some small bugs.
I had problems importing/opening a obj file, There is no problem opening the obj file in Rhino 5. It is only one file so far. I have no problem opening other obj files.
When opening a new file, and then sort layers by name, all layers disapear, until I click the “show all layers” filter button. This happens every time I open Rhino.

I have send you the file
The layer disappears in all files.
@chrbjerre ,
I was able to import the OBJ file into Rhino 6. It was slower to import than V5, though. I have created a YouTrack item about the slowness (public view not permitted due to your file being confidential).
Were you also able to import it? If not, what happened? Did Rhino 6 crash?
Thanks,
-David
@chrbjerre I can reproduce the layers disappearing after sorting by name. I will make a YouTrack item for it.
Thank you!
-David
I just got the message “error importing file”
@chrbjerre Interesting. Could you post a screen shot of your OBJ import dialog so that I can use the same options as you do?
Thanks,
-David
@chrbjerre ,
I tried importing using your options, and using the exact same Rhino version as you do. The import worked for me. So now the question is, what’s the difference between our setups?
I also have trouble importing OBJ in Rhino 6! Using latest build.
Hi @Morten_Fanous_Tejlga ,
Do you also get “Error importing file”?
-David

Hi Morten - are you also running 6.3? (Help> About Rhinoceros). You might try (and I know this is not a fix, more of a test) renaming the mtl file, if there is one - there was a bug, fixed in 6.4 where mtl files that sometimes accomany objs were causing trouble in some cases.
-Pascal
Hi. It just imports nothing…
Hi Pascal.
Thanks - using 6.3.18090.471 - Check for for update said I have latest build, but my trial just expired, so that might be the reason.

I have been having problems using blocks. Specifically copying and pasting between blocks. Whenever I attempt to paste something into a block, it explodes, and the BlockEdit dialogue box is frozen.

Hi Jens - can you please run the Rhino command SystemInfo
and copy/paste the results here?

Hi Jens - thanks - I see you’re running 6.4 - please get the latest (Help > Check for updates, or here:
https://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino-for-windows/6/latest ) That should work better,
-Pascal
Thanks - I’ll forward that to our IT department, as I can’t update for myself.
