Since i like to play games too, this is starting to be a problem…
If AMD doesn’t decide to change their position on this a fix the driver, then yes, forever.
It’s up to them.
As a result, our Wiki pages tell people to avoid Intel video and AMD Radeon for this reason.
Right now today, I think the best compromise for good DirectX gaming and pretty good OpenGL, I like the nVIdia GeForce GTX cards.
Others here will likely take exception to that and should chime in with their views.
Mine opinion is strictly from a “trying to minimize tech support issues” point of view.
