Rhino 5 trim problem

I need help, I’m asking for your help.
J80N_TR_V2_propeller.3dm (1.2 MB)
I have this propeller design that I have attached. I got stuck in the last step.
I can’t execute the trim command using the edge of the fillet as a cutting tool, so I can’t cut out the hub surface. That way I can’t attach the blades to the hub and I can’t create a solid body. (It seems to execute the split command instead of trim, but I don’t know why)
I don’t understand the reason, I’ve been suffering with it for 3 days now, I’ve started building the object again several times, but I can’t.
Please help because I no longer know what to do, I don’t know what I messed up.
Thanks.

in cases like that, dupborder on the fillets, and use those to trim. But if I do that, there is a bit of an issue:

so if you fix that surface to be on the cylinder, the trim will probably work

Dear Gijs,

Thank you very much for your quick help, yes, this is definitely the cause of the problem.
Now I have only one question left:
How can I fix the surface to the cylinder?
Sorry for the question, but I’m a beginner at Rhino.
Thanks!

Josszy

Dear Gijs,

Thank you very much, it succeeded!
Looks like I found the method and managed to create a closed object.
Thanks again for your help!
