Rhino 5 - Render View shows no shadows

I am using Rhino 5 on VMWare Fusion 8 and Windows 10. I tried to update my mac and VMWare and play around but had no luck where I can see shadows in my models.
Can someone recommend me a solution.

Your configuration is not officially supported by McNeel. More specifically, running Rhino in a virtual machine is not supported, mainly because it’s an extra burden on the support people and usually any difficulties are the fault of the virtual machine’s poor support for OpenGL in their display drivers.

This is not to say that people aren’t running in VMWare or Parallels, but it’s on an “at your own risk basis”. Word around here is that Parallels is better than VMWare. I use Rhino 5 with Parallels 10/Windows 8.1 on my MacBook Pro Retina without any issues, but my models are small and simple and I don’t use anything other than the standard display modes. Nor do I use any textures.
