Rhino 5 create solid from planar curves issue

When you extrude a planar curve to create a solid the solid does not show the surfaces that have been created. Only once you explode the object are the surfaces are shown.

Hi Adrian- are you running SR8 ? (Help > About Rhinoceros)? Does this happen with any extrusion? Please post an example…
