RHI Plugin

I have a problem, I make a plugin, and work well on my pc, but when the same plugin (RHP file) is installed on another pc, I have a problem with some functions that do not work.

On my bin folder I have all this files that is generate by visual studio:

I’ve already checked that all this file should accompany the plugin, otherwise it will not work.

My question is, how can I embed all the files in RHP ? or there is a away to generate a .exe ?

Hi @MatrixRatrix,

Are you still having this problem?

Hello @dale,

I’ve found one solution, though I do not know if it’s the best.

In my view, the problem was, my plugin have some .dll, like Mysql etc, When the plugin is debug on my
pc, this ,dll is on plugin folder, so there is no problem for Rhino.

But if the plugin is distributed (Only .rhp file) , the .dll files is not include on .rhp, so, on pc client dont have
the Mysql dll ect.

For solve this, I make a instalation file (.exe) that compile the plugin.rhp and all .dll require, this way all the files are installed on the client pc.

@dale , Is this a good practice? Is there any other way to do this?

Thank you

Sounds like you did the right thing.
