Rhi-installer for python

Hi,

does the method for creating an rhi installler as described here still work for rhino 7?
I have a Rhino 5 and 7 version installed parallel on one machine but I can open the rhi only with Rhino 5.

Cheers

To start with can you try running RhiFix.exe from this page?

https://wiki.mcneel.com/rhino/5/rhi-problems

Hi Will,

I ran the fix but it didn’t solve my problem.

I have a Python plugin installed in:
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Plug-ins\PythonPlugins\YYY (826fd158-f31e-4f1e-ab97-39d3fcec2e55)\2021.4.6.0

or respectively
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\Plug-ins\PythonPlugins\YYY (826fd158-f31e-4f1e-ab97-39d3fcec2e55)\2021.4.6.0

In these directories are several python files including e.g. pm_domain_cmd.py.

In Rhino 5 the command pm_domain is found and executed. In Rhino 7 I get an error message:
“Command: pm_domain
Unknown command: pm_domain”

Both Rhino 5 and 7 are installed on the same machine.

Do you have any Idea of what could be the problem?

Thanks
Juryk

Hi there,

any help here would be much appreciated.

Hi @juryk.henrichs, would you be able to send me the .rhi file privately via direct message?
