i got following problem with Rh8 and Pop-Up Toolbar icons.
Problem
The Icons loose their cmd funktions, after closing an reopening Rhino.
→ Normally i use the save toolbar cmd after changing an item
I work a lot with it since Rh5 and so far i never got any problem with this.
Workaround:
While working everything is fine → after shuting down Rhino and open the next day several items lost their functions cmd.
What is done so far:
- I observed it for several days, but could not find any logic behind.
- The functions that lost their cmd function a standart icon. non specific created ones.
- i repair more or less every day the icons, or replace them
What can be done for solving this problem.

Don’t do this - for now. There are some known bugs in V8 associated with manually saving toolbars. Try not saving them systematically and see if the behavior stops. Any modifications you make are normally automatically saved in the settings files without you having to do anything.
This should be fixed soon as far as I know. Make sure you are updated to the latest Service Release Candidate (not just the service releases). The current 8.5 SRC contains some fixes already.
Everything you know about toolbars from V7 and earlier doesn’t apply any more.
