I see all your crashes involve Rhino 7 files. Can we see one of those? Either posted here or sent privately (with a link to this thread in the comments) here.

If possible please update to 8.7 (via Rhino8>Settings>General> Set updates to Service Release Candidate. Thanks

Thanks, it opened on my M1 with no issues. There was a warning about plugin information in the file (Corgi). Lets disable the plugin via Rhino 8>Settings>Plugins for testing purposes.

I turned off Corgi and upgraded to the latest candidate.

When I hit save there is no problem, but when I close the window and it tries to save I got the spinning beachball

However after restarting with corgi off everything seems to to be in order again. Thanks!
is there a reason to have Corgi?

If I remember correctly, Corgi was a tool for working with point clouds.
I never used it personally.

Out it goes then, it requested to be installed when I opened a grasshopper file…and I was hesitant to say no to loading it in case the recipe wouldn’t run properly.

thanks

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve been hearing other reports too. We’ll look into this…
