I made some changes to settings in: Rhino Settings/Display Mode/Shaded/Objects/Surfaces… But the “Restore Defaults” button did not seem to bring back the original settings.
After restoring the defaults, did you Quit and restart the Rhino application?
Those files are read and settings are loaded when Mac applications are started.
