We’re on the lookout for a curious, innovative, and driven individual to join us as a Research Assistant (TVL13, 50%) at Hochschule Anhalt’s “Fachbereich 3 - Architektur, Facility Management und Geoinformatik,” with the exciting possibility of pursuing a PhD as part of this role. Here’s the scoop:
The Project:
Autoreduced CO2 – We’re exploring the intersection of robotic manufacturing, materials optimization, and sustainable tech solutions. It’s ambitious, exciting, and the perfect playground for creative thinkers and doers.
Start Date:
ASAP – We’re eager to welcome you onboard right away!
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a computer engineer, civil engineer, or architect with a strong passion for programming, or a software developer with exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen interest or background in architecture and engineering. You’re eager to explore areas such as CO2 reduction, materials science, optimization, and algorithmic design.
What You Bring to the Table:
Hard Skills:
- Programming wizardry: Python, C#, Grasshopper, …
- Skilled in database development, optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks, such as Hugging Face.
- Hands-on skills in Digital Fabrication
- Bonus: You’re into VR/AR!
Soft Skills:
- Fluent in English (and German’s a plus!)
- Open-minded, holistic thinker who loves tackling complex challenge
Requirements:
A university degree in computer science, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
Location:
The role is on-site at Dessau Campus, with room to explore ocasionally hybrid work arrangements.
