Request for Third-Party Plugin Access

Hello,

We’ve been developing 2D cutting list drawings using GhLinear Cutting, developed by Alexander Morozov. However, we’ve encountered an issue where ShapeDiver is not allowing us to upload due to an unauthorized third-party plugin. Could @shapediver please advise if it’s possible to enable the upload of this plugin or if there are any similar cutting list optimizers that are supported by ShapeDiver?

Our team can review this plugin and see if it makes sense to be added to the shared ShapeDiver servers. However, I could not find the plugin (not on food4rhino and the package manager). Could you point me to a link where I can download it?

After reviewing the plugin you mentioned above, our team has evaluated that the plugin is not safe to deploy on the ShapeDiver servers, because it does not follow all good practice guidelines and does not seem to be properly maintained.

We are currently working on a separate plugin that aims to gather functionalities from old or non-compatible plugins such as this one, based on the demand we see from ShapeDiver users. If we see strong demand for the GHLinear_Cutting plugin, this could be a solution in the future.
