Attempting to render through a wall (and the tile on it), while maintaining a mirror reflection of that same wall and tile - which setting might be most appropriate to achieve this?
Currently rendering through the wall (via unchecking “Visible” under Vray in Properties, but not picking up the tile/wall in the mirror.
First option Is a clipping plane like micha said.
An alternative you can use and I used before is to put a plane in place of the wall, and give a vray2 sided material to it.
Front side with the wall material, back side with a transparent material.
Set the translucency in the 2side material to black.
