Rendering Curves in VRay

Hello,

I made a graphic with GH and want to render it in Vray 3. I baked curves which are colored by z-value. Is there a way to render the curves without making a pipe for them? To avoid using photoshop/Illustrator after the rendering?

Best regards,
Tim

My idea would be to use the piping modifier in Rhino Render Tools. That creates only a virtual mesh pipe around the curves that can be later modified / removed. I’m curious if there’s a better way.

Is there a way to color the pipes by curve color?

Use the SynchronizeRenderColors command and the render colors will be the layer colors
