Rendered view grouping

Hi,

i can’t think of an explanation of rhino’s this behavior so asking you guys. when it is in rendered view mode and i group something, Rhino creates meshes for no reason there is no change of material nor a join process, just grouping. Is this a necessity?

it happens while working on a 115 Mb file, not on a 5 MB one.

Hi Blastered - hmm- I do not know, I’ll see if I can make this happen here. Are all objects in view when you group them? What plug-ins are you using, if any (non-standard ones, I mean)

Hi Pascal,

yes standard group tool (CTRL + G) but it happens when the file is big, my group contains 44 polysurfaces + 464 surfaces (1076 surfaces if exploded)
