Rendered mode with clipping view enabled shows wrong material

V8 SR14, anyone seen this?

I have about a dozen materials in the scene, skylight and sun enabled in the rendering properties, shadow slider put up a bit (3090 card).

It depends on the zoom level and only displays the wrong material during 3D Connexion Spacemouse movement. Once you let go of the knob the correct material is displayed.

And of course this doesn’t show up when I export just a few relevant objects, it only shows up in a rather large file which I can’t share, not even with the McNeel uploader (file is too sensitive and bug is only cosmetic).
