Render problem with geometry

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with these circles when I render the scene. While inside rhino render mode the geometry is fine:


V-ray shows the final result like this:

The curret pattern is produced with grasshopper. Does anyone know what can I do to solve this problem?

Are those circles a texture or actual geometry ?
would it be possible to isolate only the circles from your GH definition and post it or a screenshot of it here ?

They are just surfaces.

Thanks for the file.
However the definition requires some input curves. I used flat rectangles to simulate, but I’m not sure if that is the correct way.

Anyway. There isn’t any problem when render the baked geometry. But I guess that is due to setting wrong curves.

Also the number of circles seem enormous. You can use the V-Ray instancer to efficiently utilize the renderer.

Could you by chance upload the .3dm you pick the curves from ?
