I think the problem here is self explanatory.
Please describe the situation, what youâre trying to do, and what youâre seeing that isnât right.
Assume you are describing a problem about a tool that the reader does not use.
Renaming a saved view, the text field is floating miles below the saved view. Itâs in the picture.
Iâm not seeing that here in the new Mac V6 Beta.
I have the Named View panel in the inspector panels on the right.
When I double click on the existing name in under the thumbnail, the text character are highlighted âin placeâ and I can change them.
Now letâs figure out whatâs different about your setup.
Are you running the new Beta 6.16.19176.12104 from yesterday?
Yes, Iâm using the latest beta. I am running on a MacBook Pro 13" 2018.
I have an external Dell monitor 27" (not the 4k one).
Hereâs a video of it happening. When I click on âview 3â the text field is outside of the extents of the recording.
I have just tried on the built in display on the MacBook Pro and it works correctly so it seems to be to do with using the external monitor.
I donât have a second monitor, but I am running on a 2017 13" MBP.
Please run the SystemInfo command in Rhino when both monitors are hooked up and post those details here please.
Iâll try to find another tech running an extra monitor to see if they can duplicate the problem.

Thanks, I was able to reproduce this issue as well and have filed it as https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-53459
A temporary work around is to right click the thumbnail and choose rename⌠this centers the text field. This only appears to happen if Rhino is on the second 1080p monitor.
Iâm actually using a 2560 x 1440 display, but Iâm sure the issue is the same
