Remove overlapping geometry

I am trying to remove the overlapping geomtry. What I mean is I want that top cylinder to delete the parts of the other cylinder it passes through so those verticies/lines are no longer present inside the top cylinder. Any advice is appreciated as I am still new to this platform.
