Remove doubles?

Hey when using the subd tool, I run into a very classic subd modeling issue - doubles. I wonder if there is anything equivalent the Remove Doubles(Merge by distance tool) in Blender? Or is there a similar command somewhere in the mesh operations? Maybe a dissolve vetex/edge/face command?

Seems that Weld Vertices does’t work in this case.

are you referring to duplicate quads laying right on top of each other?

That’s one case of that. The scenario I am dealing with is that the quad seems to be a quad but have 5 vertices, where two vertices are stacking right ton top of each other.

Try AlignVertices which has a distance option. It’s in the SubD tools sidebar too, run ToolbarReset if you don’t see it.

in that case you can preselect the verts and run stitch-
