I am still new to Grasshopper, I have created a form using multipipe in Grasshopper (also with help from very very kind helpers in this forum). I now wanted to cut off the bottom part of the pipe but also after searching through the forum/internet/chatgpt and a lot of trial I didnt manage to do that. The pipe should like that create a Tunnel on a not flat surface or also if the pipe goes further up above the surface, the bottom half should still be cut off.
yes, I know that the ends are off, but also there where they intersect it doesnt seem to really work, also in general it cuts quite wierdly and not clean.
I tried something similar like this too and it always said “split did not suceed”, also now I tried to do the exact same as you did but also then it says “split did not suceed”. Probably Im just doing something really dumb that it doesnt work, but I cant figure out what…
yes I did look at that too. But from my understanding this only works if I want to cut everything away under the XY Plane, or well if I would have another plane too. But since my pipe isnt flat I didnt manage to do that? I will definitely have a more detailed look at it again so that I figure out how it could work with a not flat curve too
hmm well thank you a lot, then it should work for me too, I will check and compare with your one to check what I did wrong. Thank you a lot! have a nice day!
I forgot about that one parakeet component, I’m sorry, I thought I romovved everything. And yeah my code isn’t beautiful I know that. As I said I’m just a beginner. Anyway thank you a lot for still helping me! Enjoy your day!
