Regression: Script Editor White Space Indication

Hi @eirannejad and @Alain,

Continuing syntax highlighting issues originally raised over here, the white space indication in the new script editor lacks two features present in GhPython:

  1. It draws dot indicators for single white spaces.
  2. It does not highlight every fourth space with a darker color.

It would by great to have the white space indication work the way it does in GhPython. Or at least skip the single space dots, which are quite distracting I find. And yes I know I can turn on the vertical line indentation guides, but I really don’t like those. Apologies for being an old dog/bother.

Thanks and best,

Anders

Hi Anders,

I agree with skipping the dots when words are separated by single spaces:
RH-85303 - don’t show single spaces between words when showing whitespace.

The other requests are logged here: RH-85304

Thanks

Cheers Alain, that sounds great. Thanks for the YouTracks, the second one appears to be private.

You should be able to see it now.
Thanks.
