Region slits tool problem

The region split tool is acting weirdly. I am trying to intersect these following curves:

and the result is:

Any ideas?

Is there a way to flip the cuts? (so you get the circular ribs on the inside instead of the outside)?

Why don’t you just try to swap the cutters for Trim Solid operations?
