-sometimes it will handle crease data not correctly (in my case, constant weight creases were not updated on reflected side)
-when deleting face in the middle of reflection plane, the whole thing may lose creasing or some edges unrelated to change area
-when choosing face in the middle of reflection plane, it will change dynamic cplane to it, even though cplane update is locked in the settings below (icon also goes unlocked)
Hi Gijs, for now i have only one example messy object with unreflected crease (i painted faces red)
Will provide the rest as soon as i stumble upon them again, thanks a lot
@ican3d that’s helpful. I can see in that file that, even when I remove the Reflect, apply the same crease on the other side, Reflect will destroy that change again.
I think it is the same as what I logged here RH-76871 Sharp OffsetSubD Reflect issue
Hi Gijs, turns out that Cplane locking has nothing to do with reflection, but still there’s an issue.
It may depend on smth, but i saved a subd in a separate file and it “worked” on it
I keep having my Cplane switched time to time (in locked state).
I manually switch to custom Cplane (changes locked), but on some actions (e.g. Osnap changes) Cplane will revert to some auto state, set when picking subd faces. Locked mode stays on.
