Reduce Double Surfaces to merge element

Hi everyone.

Here’s my problem. I got a file that was created in Parasolid. I converted it with 3D Tool V11 to STEP and open it in Rhino 5. Some of the objects have double surfaces that lay on top of each other. Is there a way to just select one face group that make the object and then merge that one and delete the rest of the surfaces?

Thanks and cheers from Bavaria

Hi @carsten_quilitz

I’m not entirely sure if I understand you correctly, but if the problem is duplicate surfaces, you might be able to Explode the entire thing, use SelDup to select the duplicates, delete them and use Join to put things back together again.

Hi Jacob. Thanks so much, THAT DID THE TRICK!
